The synthesis and crystn. of the pharmaceutically important metabolite, paracetamol-O-glucuronide I, is described.  Hydrated and anhyd. forms of the target mol. have been characterized by PXRD, DSC and TGA.  In addn., a methanol solvate has been analyzed, including single crystal anal., which represents the first structure soln. for this system.
