A nematic liquid crystal three terminal device for optical beam steering is demonstrated using a thin film resistor network on the substrate layer forming a near continuous index perturbation adaptive lens. A 12 cm minimum focal length is demonstrated for a 1 mm square device.A nematic liquid crystal three terminal device for optical beam steering is demonstrated using a thin film resistor network on the substrate layer forming a near continuous index perturbation adaptive lens.
