The aim of the Prospective Observational Trial to Optimize Pediatric Health in IUGR (PORTO) Study was to evaluate the optimal management of fetuses with EFW<10th centile. Gestational hypertension (GH) and preeclampsia (PET) are thought to share a common pathology with IUGR, associated with more severe clinical implications. This study describes placental lesions in a cohort of IUGR pregnancies complicated by GH and PET and to compare them with normotensive IUGR
