Gender, ethics and social work: an international study of students' perceptions at entry into social work education The connections between gender, ethics and social work are complex. Based on a cross-national project, this article investigates how student social workers commencing their professional education in Australia, Canada, the USA and the UK rank the importance of selected social work aims. The equivocal findings from a statistical analysis of gender, age and university of enrolment pose interesting questions for further exploration.
