Tincomarus, Medusa, Atrebates, Belgae, coins, control-mark, mint-mark
The variable letters A and B occur on a quarter stater (ABC 1076), silver unit (ABC 1106) and silver minim (ABC 1133) struck by Tincomarus. It is argued here that they may refer to the Atrebates and Belgae respectively, so that the combinations CA and CB on the quarter stater may expand to read Civitas Atrebatum and Civitas Belgarum.
