Abstract

Results of ‘Profiling Elements of Prosody in Speech-Communication’ showed that children with spina bifida (SB) were competent in some prosody form and functions assessed. They had significantly lower scores in some areas compared to two groups of typically developing children (age-matched; language-matched) but the overall prosodic skills profile of the SB group was similar to that of the control groups.
