This focus is endorsed in the World Health Organisation’s International Classif ication of Functioning, Disability and Health (2001) and is enshrined in the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) revised Definition of Occupational Therapy (2004). Enabling and enhancing participation in daily occupations is occupational therapy’s unique contribution to society (Law, 2002).
