Minister for Health, Simon Harris TD and Dr John Cuddihy, Interim Director, HSE Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) launched the HSE Seasonal Flu Vaccination Campaign with people in at-risk groups who the HSE is urging to get vaccinated against influenza. Flu causes severe illness and death in Ireland every year. Over 65s, people with long-term health conditions, healthcare workers and pregnant women urged to get flu vaccination.
