'The Ritual Year and Gender', the fourth conference
of The Societé Internationale d'Ethnologie et de Folklore (SIEF) Ritual Year
Working Group, was held in Cork, Ireland, 22 ¿ 26 June, 2008. It was organised by Jenny Butler and hosted by the Folklore and Ethnology Department, University College Cork. The proceedings were published as a special edition of Cosmos journal. Jenny Butler was the Guest Editor of this RY4/Ritual Year and Gender volume with Emily Lyle, the General Editor of Cosmos.
